SPECIAL FEATURE: Christmas Gift Ideas from Online!

Christmas is not that far now, its getting darker ever earlier, the cold has arrived, and it'll soon be time to start wrapping up all those gifts. But you have to buy all those gifts first! So, here's The Family Panel guide to some great offerings online.

As ever, we at Family Panel are tired of looking on the usual sites online for Christmas gift ideas for the Tots or family members, as it all gets a little repetitive after a while. Whatever the budget, the net is a great place to find something just that little bit different, and it couldn't be simpler to point and click to great things for Christmas.

First up, is BREAD AND JAM.
Pillow Fight
Bread and Jam is run by Sofia Dyson and Lisa Swerling, and quite simply sells the Runaway dress. These tabard shaped dresses in a mix of fabrics and designs are a great classic and certainly a welcome alternative to the Mini Adult dresses widely available in stores.

Skull Dress
Teeny Editions Puppy Dress- only available in December
The great idea is that once on site, you can pick what design you want for the pockets material- all the Runaway dresses come with a handy apron style pocket to the front, again in a range of patterns, so the opportunity for a unique dress is one not to be missed! Either go for a girly design, like "Pillow Fight", or a funky modern twist such as  "The Skull Dress." Even better, theres the Teeny Editions Puppy Dress, with a puppy dog toy, which is available only in December.

Another great feature- they can be worn year round, just a the site suggests so are a versatile gift, and prices starting at £25, well, they're not too expensive. Available in a range of sizes, you can find more at http://www.ilovebreadandjam.com

Fabric Flavours stock baby grows and T-shirts for kids with a funky edge. Featuring retro designs with everything from DS Comics, to Bruce Lee, and the Gruffalo, the designs are just that little bit different from your fairies and cars of typical kids clothing.

We love the classic Bambi girls Tee (£18), as it reminds us of the vintage tees favoured by Fearne Cotton and The Saturdays, and girls will love dressing in a cute Tee. Or how about a Noddy Baby grow (£16)? For the boys, theres the Superman Tee (£18)- these Tees are so funky you better hide them from older siblings!
With something to suit the girliest girl, to the boy who loves all sorts of comic book heroes, these are certainly t-shirts which will get people talking! You can see the whole range at http://www.fabricflavours.com
Moving onto from clothing to toys, next up with have KIDDYMANIA, who stock a selection of classic and well made toys and gifts that kids will love and still be chatting about by January!

Little girls will love the Fairy Playhouse, (£195) for its attention to detail which certainly catches the eye. With cottage windows, complete with curtains, you'll have trouble getting your fairy princess to come out for her tea!

Or, for those with less to spend, why not consider the Rose Fairy Wand set (£4.95), which has wings and wand to start off any girls fairy dressing up box!

Younger children will love the Wheely Bug Tiger (£55)- made from sturdy wood, it starts off as an alternative to the classic Baby Walker, and ends up as a cool way to ride around the house and garden! We loved the Furry ears on this!

Another great company for gifts and toys is LITTLE SUNFLOWERS
Little Sunflowers, predominantly a shop in Tunbridge Wells, also sells via the net everything for children, from gifts to toys and everything inbetween, for ages newborn to 6.

They sell classic toys such as the Elmer The Elephant Bowling Skittles (£17.95), a great game which aids co-ordination, is bright and colourful and overall fun for the whole family. Or for Gruffalo fans they stock the Gruffalo Wooden Croquet Set (£21.99).

Or for something a little bit more quirky, and great for the rain, how about these great Lady Bug Wellies, at £15.99 they really wont fail to catch the eye of those wearing them!

Pitched at Mum's MUMMY'S ONLINE BABY SHOP stocks a wide range of baby and toddler gifts, and puts a unique spin on some old favourites.

Such as these glittery Converse Bling Trainers (£59.99), also available in Clown Fish Orange and white, they really make a difference from the normal blue, pink or yellow pram shoes, and give a modern twist.

Or celebrate babies first Christmas with the Christmas Rock Classic Lullabys CD, a sure fire hit to sing a long to over the festive season whilst soothing baby off to sleep!

Shopping for the baby who has everything? Then why not consider the Silver Edition Dummy (£24.99), complete with gift box- something that any parent will treasure!

Finally, help babies wrap up warm with a high quality hand made gift from STELLINA BABY.

What better way to wrap a newborn up than with Gelato Luxury Cashmere gift set (£80), available in several colours. Not only do you receive a cashmere cosy blanket, also included is a tie hat and tiny mittens, all gift boxed- s no fiddly wrapping!
For older babies there's the Luxury Cashmere Puppy Hat and Scarf Gift set (£125), no chills will get through no matter what the temperature with these super soft an comfy items. Who can resist the softness of cashmere, with the added feature of a smiley dog, and floppy ears- photo opportunities aplenty!
Whatever your budget or needs, look online at these sites for more great gifts, clothing and toys.
