So what Mum wouldn't want to lose that Monday feeling by heading off to the big smoke, to drink free cocktails in the middle of the afternoon, while little one is having lots of fun elsewhere.
I was heading off to view the Aldi Ski Range prior to its much anticipated launch this Thursday. I am told there will be queues and you only have to look at the hardcore Ski folk who are tweeting about it to believe this will be the case.
Here's what they say:
Infant and Junior Snowsuits £9.99 - super warm with a Teflon coating, the younger members of the family can get to grips with the snow in this super cute but practical snowsuit. So, even if you're not hitting the slopes this year, you can ensure the children are as snug as a bug when the British winter freeze kicks in.
Girl's and Boy's Snow Boots, £8.99 - There'll be no frozen toes in these cosy, warm and waterproof winter boots. With a warm inner fleece and reflective detail, junior snow lovers can be toasty warm while enjoying the weather!
The ladies jacket I am modelling in these photos, is a large and fits me, despite me being between a 16-18 dress size (UK). I wasn't so lucky getting my fat ass into the ladies large Salopettes so had to make do with men's. Aldi were very kind, as I got to keep my outfit, once I took it off after my 40 minutes in the Ice Bar. If I manage to get to an Aldi's this Thursday it is the beautiful merino thermals that I will be keeping my beady eye out for. I also have my eye on the children's ski socks. If you have a store near you, then lucky you. You know what to do!
Thanks so much for having me. xxx
ReplyDeleteWe've never been skiing but these prices are great - would definitely consider buying here should we be brave enough
ReplyDeleteGonna be into the minuses from this Friday on, so I think the thermals are a good buy for UK weather xx
