Napolina Pesto Range

The Lazy Girl House has been trying something new this week. Even "meat and two veg" man Gadget Dad has been converted to try something from our Italian neighbours....

In our home, I am definitely more inclined to try new things over "traditionalist" Gadget Dad. However, on having five minutes to make dinner for us after a busy day of gardening, and having fed the Brats their fave quick dinner of wraps, I decided to try something different.

Napolina have a range of quick dinner recipes on their website, which are free to use and cover a wide range of their products, from pasta to pesto, and olive oil. Each recipe if fool proof and ready in under 20 minutes.

I took some pasta, and after cooking, added a generous table spoon of Napolina Green Pesto to the pan, as well as some cheese, mushrooms and ham.

Adding the pesto made what could have been a bland dinner into a rich meal, and you can add as little or as much as you like.

Its a rich taste that compliments whatever it's added to, with subtle hints of garlic, and pine nuts.

We also tried their Red Pesto, which is a little different as it contains tomatoes rather than basil. This goes very well with spicier versions of pasta dishes, add as much chili as you dare along with chicken.

Costing between £1.70 and £2 for a 190g jar, a little goes a long way, and its well worth having a jar available for nights when you would have reached for an unhealthy take away menu.

You can view the full range from Napolina at their website, as well as handy recipe suggestions for all their products.
